  I loved the experience. As a first timer in Canada and from a warm country as Ghana, the ammenities (heater and hot shower) served a great purpose.friendly reception too from host. Very helpful with everything I needed. Memorable first experience. - Big rooms, Kitchen, Near the subway. Bloor str in walking distance.

  The owner is incredibly kind and friendly. A fantastic breakfast was cooked fresh with organic cereals made by the host. There is a puppy on premises (a mini poodle) but this made the stay more pleasant for me. The host is great company during breakfast (I travelled solo) and was a great resource for sight seeing. Rooms have flat screen televisions, modern curtains yet rustic furniture and even coiled heaters- like you would see - Lovely Victorian feel. Kind and considerate hosts.   This hotel is top-notch. The building is smaller and more intimate, which we really liked. The staff is amazing. Even if the rooms were not as luxurious and well appointed as they are, it would be worth staying just for the service. We used the concierge several times and their recommendations were perfect. The staff is friendly and polite. The room and bathroom were large with a nice terrace. We stayed during the TIFF, a Valmont facial was offered with the room (indeed, we love valmont!!!). The SPA is great. I recommend the manicurist who is amazing! ONE restaurant is very good, the staff again is extremely nice. Perfect stay!!!

The staff are wonderful, and the prices in the bar are fair (one time I had 2 guests, and we had 2 coffees, a dessert and a hot chocolate, and the bill was only cad$13.00!
