  The hotel staff went out of their way to make our visit special. My husband made some requests because we were staying for our 44th anniversary, and the hotel staff went beyond what he requested. We were treated like royalty by Gerd, Tewalde and Mohammed, and we have already planned to return for our next anniversary. Th - We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at the RoyalYork. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as the door men open the door for you, it is like walking into another world. Everyone so helpful and polite. The Elite restaurant was fabulous.   It was an unbelievable stay! We were there from Friday to Monday morning, and it was a stay that we will never forget! Their relentless attention to detail, is unbelievable. It is this attention to detail, that adds up to a wonderful and impeccable place to stay! I wold recommend staying at Trump Hotel if you can afford it! I would recommend Trump Hotel Toronto to anyone and everyone! - Trump hotels set the standard for this level of price. Not cheap but plenty of little things - chocolates and water each night (gratis), as well as slippers and turn down service each night. Fantastico!

  This hotel is top-notch. The building is smaller and more intimate, which we really liked. The staff is amazing. Even if the rooms were not as luxurious and well appointed as they are, it would be worth staying just for the service. We used the concierge several times and their recommendations were perfect. The staff is friendly and polite. The room and bathroom were large with a nice terrace. We stayed during the TIFF, a Valmont facial was offered with the room (indeed, we love valmont!!!). The SPA is great. I recommend the manicurist who is amazing! ONE restaurant is very good, the staff again is extremely nice. Perfect stay!!!
