  The hotel staff went out of their way to make our visit special. My husband made some requests because we were staying for our 44th anniversary, and the hotel staff went beyond what he requested. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as the door men open the door for you, it is like walking into another world. Everyone so helpful and polite. The Elite restaurant was fabulous.   It was an unbelievable stay! We were there from Friday to Monday morning, and it was a stay that we will never forget! Their relentless attention to detail, is unbelievable. It is this attention to detail, that adds up to a wonderful and impeccable place to stay! I wold recommend staying at Trump Hotel if you can afford it!   Staff were very informative and helpful. Conceige desk was so very helpful and we had everything we needed on time as requested. We booked a rental car and they had it delivered exactly at the time we asked. Great location on the lake, lakeview was amazing! - The staff were couteous and thiughtful and always very helpful. Based on a few of the reviews, we were worried there might not be enough space for our group of four guys, but we were very comfortable in the apartment, between the bed and the pull-out couch. We even had a few friends over for drinks in the evening, and found that it was a nice place to entertain. I think this would be a good place for me to stay when I come to Toronto with my family next time, since the apartment was large and comfortable.

  I loved the fact that there was appropriate space for all to manage themselves around in comfort. Also having two bedrooms and two bathrooms with sufficient closet space was excellent. After having a bit of difficulty checking in "after hours, we discovered that the guest before us had smoked in our non-smoking room so when we arrived the air was very heavy with smoke but there was no one to call about the problem at that hour. Before the office opened the next morning, the manager had called us directly to check on us and, after hearing our situation, offered relief for our situation.
