The location - very near the Bow River and (just) slightly away from the central bustle of downtown Banff - was convenient and yet pleasantly quiet. The staff was outstanding! Rooms were clean (better than Chateau Canmore where I stayed previously)! Sorry I forgot to leave a tip as I was rushing out of there. Probably one of the best deals out there. Cheaper even than a few bed and breakfasts that I looked at. Melissa's (?) next door was a great location for breakfast (also good prices and staff). Great that parking is available. I would stay again for sure.

My wife and I travel yearly and Bumpers Inn has been truly the best
motel we have stayed at. Lorna the front desk staff-whom I believe is
the owner, is polite, professional and kind. We found her cleaning staff

Best Price in Banff!
The rooms are 2x the size of the Fairmont and 1/3 the price.
Rooms are aged but its a motel/motor inn so if you want a hot tub, gym and a place for the kids while you nurse your hangover this is not your place. if you want a place that is banff budget and choose to spend your money on enjoying your stay while in banff (skiing, restaurants, child care, hot springs) than pay the 80$ and don't expect anything more than a spacious room to sleep while you explore the area.

Really can't beat the bang for your buck . Really nice room and
very comfortable beds. There is a breakfast buffet at the ptarmigan
hotel where you check in to the driftwood and for $14 , gst and tip
included, you eat like a king and have bottomless juice and coffee.
