  Central location, close to Vitosha Boulevard and with plenty of restaurants within easy reach. Rooms are well appointed and extremely spacious, confortable beds and with a beautiful bathroom. Staff were extremely helpful, assisting with questions and requests for taxi's, always polite. Breakfast buffet was good, totally continental with yoghurt... vad folk säger » , fruit, toast, cheese, ham and hot items, plus a variety of juices and hot drinks. Everything you needed for a pleasant stay. - Location close to Vitosha boulevard is great. Hotel is in quiet side-street. Nice neighbourhood, many nice restaurants in the side-streets. Room was more four star: modern, clean and spacious. Loved the big bathroom and the big balcony (5th floor). Staff spoke english and acted very adequate. WIFI (free) was excellent. Taxi from airport about 13 lev (desk OK taxi).

  I've stayed at this hostel on 3 or 4 occasions over the course of the last 3.5 months or so, and I've had a good experience each time. The beds are comfortable, the showers have lots of hot water, the price is right, the internet connection is pretty good, it is always pretty quiet, which is good if -- like me -- you have important work to do on ... vad folk säger » your laptop at night. I've met a good number of pretty cool guests there and, despite our political disagreements, Ioana -- a part-owner who comes th - Probably the best location you can imagine! Even though it was in the busiest area in the city centre it was quite peaceful during the night. Outside the hostel - beautiful view of Vitosha Mountain, nice bars and shops just a step away. Would definately reccommend it

  Premier Thracia lives up to the Best Western standards. Everything was wonderful and the staff exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful. They made recommendations for restaurants that were great and provided us with information about the free walking tour to become familiar with Sofia's most important sites. If you are traveling - The breakfast-buffet is excellent – and the staff even better. Here is a little story: I like my coffee with milk. Two mornings later the waiter asks me, if I want milk with my coffee – I nodded, and she served hot(!) milk with my beverage. Outstanding...

  We stayed at the Kaliakra Apartment. Vip advise 3 days before you arrive which apartment you will be staying in. They arranged a transfer from the airport for 18 Euros. The apartment was modern, very comfortable and very close to a 24hour supermarket and the European Union Metro Station.   We rented the apartment on our second visit to Sofia as the place we were using before was booked. We were very happy with the property. The apartment is very well furnished and extremely clean, it has a lot of space and natural light. The location is excellent - literally around the corner from the main shopping street which is a nice pedestrian... vad folk säger » area with bars and cafes. Apparently Sofia is not that big so we never had to use subway or even taxi - all the points of interest were within a wal - Sofia came on our radar last minute as a mid stop on our road trip to Greece so we didn't have a lot of time to plan. The apartment looked good and at a reasonable price so we came with no expectations. Still we left our heart in Sofia and partly it was because of this choice. The place is great - clean, tidy and cozy, and with a perfect location on a quiet street at the very center.
