  I found the staff to be approachable and helpful. The ocean view room was terrific - great view of Copacabana Beach. Plus, we allowed a late check out because our flight home left in the evening.   Professionalism of staff-English speaking staff at front desk 24 hours daily during our stay-Dec.18-21,2013. My wife suddenly became ill during the middle of the night and the staff directed us to a 24 hour clinic only two blocks away with an English speaking Doctor leaving us very satisfied with the service provided by the hotel and the clinic. -... vad folk säger » The reception staff spoke English and were very helpul in advising and assisting with tours, bookings of taxis and general advice. The room staff were very efficient and the restaurant was great with both breakfasts, and al a carte meals for dinner. The location, one street back from the beach at Copacobana was excellent.

  Great hotel very helpful and friendly staff. Good location only a couple of blocks to the beach. Would return without fail if I was to visit again on Copocabana Beach.   This hotel was better than what we expected after reading comments from travellers posted on the web. Our room (number 404) was refurbished recently; the sea view was gorgeous; the breakfast very good.   Very happy with our experience in this hotel. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom had bidet and a bathtub!!! VERY difficult to find in Brazil. There are also a swimming pool, a sport center and a sauna available, all very clean and well kept. Breackfast is outstanding!! It looked as it were lunch as well: fruits, juices, differents type... vad folk säger » s of cakes and sweet dishes, different types of bread and cold meat, and hot dishes: bacon, eggs, hamburgers, etc. Never saw such a complete breakfast - The room size is great, very spacious. The breakfast is very well served with plenty of variety and excellent quality, the sweets are particularly delicious.

  I loved my stay at Mirador Rio Hotel. The staff is awesome. Very corteous and friendly. Specil kudos to Thiago and staff at front desk. Great location; three blocks from the beach if you ae traveling under a budget. Breakfast is great! You can't miss their Pao de Queijo! (cheese balls!) Waiters also rock! and Ton, bar tender is a Carioca-Nordeste ... vad folk säger » character! Also athousand thanks to Monica who helped us change our reservation! - I was there for carnival. The Hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach, could have been closer but cant complain weather was really good. The reception staff was very helpful in getting information of stuff happening in the city. Overall a pleasant stay

  - The receipton staff was fantastically helpful in a couple of ways (and most of them spoke fantastic English) - the Copacabana is only 5 minutes walk away (and there are many restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel) - house keeping was very fast and efficient - the breakfast buffet was really good (just stay away from the coffee - this ta... vad folk säger » stes aweful) - Great location near beach, restaurants, fast food kfc etc, shops, drugstores and stores. Pleasant helpful staff. Gym not tops if you are into that. Pool not exactly clean but that`s same most places in Rio. Room very comfortable and clean. Bedding not tops but it`s what you pay for. Price reasonable comparatively speaking.
