  The staff couldn't do enough for you. Whatever you needed they were there to advise or point you in the right direction. Bra läge för sommar-vandring - Good atmosphere, friendly staff, exellent access to ski lifts on the doorstep (although skiing off the mountain is a black run). - Staff and rooms were great. Location is right at the bottom of a lift to the top of the local mountain.

Bathroom was also large and spotless. Staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is centrally located, 10min walk from railway station, 5 minutes walk from buses going to Kaprun and Kitzsteinhorn cable car or locally to Schmittenbahn, 5 min walk to the lake promenade and boats, restaurants and shops nearby. The restaurant has good and affordable food for an evening meal. Internet wireless worked very well.

  The Steinerwirt was very comfortable and in the Austrian aesthetic with elements of modern art. It made a great home base for exploring the area and for walking around Zell am See.   Very close to a slope (about 15 meters). You just put on boots, grad skies, walk around the house and there you are, on blue track that goes down directly to the lift station.   This was the perfect accommodation for our family. Great location, Beautiful spacious appartment, spotlessly clean, very good kitchen facilities, private infra-red sauna in our own bathroom, right next door to a fantastic leisure complex with state of the art facilities, including diving boards water slide and sauna/spa facilities.   It was a uniq experince, the designe of the hotel reflects the life in Austria countryside and it is comfortable and nice to stay (the room we reserved is junior suite with 2 balcony it was big advantage for nice and fresh air.
