  We loved our 4 night stay here. It was remote and relaxing. It's the perfect place to stay if you love hiking and biking. It's also perfect as a jumping point for many attractions in the areas, such as the castles and the Zugspitze. There's a hiking path that leads to the castles, which was wonderful. It is remote, so having a car would be prefera... vad folk säger » ble. There's free parking. The service from all staff members was great. We really enjoyed the restaurant, especially the game menu (venison, boar, ha - We were staying at the hotel for 2 nights doing a sightseeing trip around south Bavaria. The hotel is close to all the important landmarks we wanted to see, and served as a good base of operations. The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful alpine region, away from any cities and noise. The room we stayed in was big, the facilities nice and clean, the staff was super friendly and always smiling. The breakfast (included in the price) featured a good variety of foods.   Very well situated for a beautiful walk to the castle at Neuschwanstein.Quietly situated, plenty of parking spaces. All staff very friendlyespecially the young lady on reception who was most welcoming andinformative. - Excellent restaurant, very nice location, local style
