Location, location, location! We were greeted warmly and directed to our spacious and well appoimted room. Our room looked out over the market square, others over the church and the very best look over the lake.

The hotel has undergone a major renovation and our room overlooking the church and the water was spacious and very nice. There are two comfortable chairs and wifi is available in the room so it was easy to catch up on business. The food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was also great with lots of choices. The gorgeous town of Hallstatt had experienced devastating flash flooding two nights prior to our visit and our hotel had been affected. You wouldn't have known that though as they cleaned up very quickly. Our room was divine. Luxurious, comfortable, and extremely clean. The view of the lake from our balcony was breathtaking.
