The hotel is in an excellent position, and is very tastefully decorated ( except fot the absolutely hidious standard lamp in the bedroom!! ) The choice of cold foods at breakfast was very good but the scrambled eggs looked rather sad. Hotel has been renovated and now it's a modern hotel in the heart of old town. Excellent location! Really close to all main attractions. And in spite of that you won't be disturbed by noise. It's quiet because the hotel stands at back street (but nearby Dom, Residence etc.).

Personal service from Josef, the owner. The welcome email really made us feel 'welcomed' ... it is always useful to have such information just beforehand.

Förstklassig service Prisnivå på tjänsternai motsvarande grad. - From the time we arrived and stepped out of our car outside the hotel to the time we left, all hotel Sacher staff were extremely plesant. Our standard room we booked was like a mini-suite. Location was walking distance to everything. The hotel was so good, we stayed an extra night.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions
