  We visited the Hunter Valley for a concert on the green. The location was perfect and also allowed easy access to other wineries. Our room was upgraded on the Sunday at no extra cost. Hotel was very clean and facilities made for a relaxing weekend. Staff were very helpful - We loved the rooms, the pool and the gardens.   The scenery was fantastic, it is an idyllic spot in Hunter, walking distance to a couple of wineries and we spotted kangaroos on our stroll!   A hidden gem. I have been to the hunter many times and my first ever to willow tree and it will not be my last. The greatness started with the call about our arrival time. Having heard we will be arriving late, we were given very clear instructions on getting there and how to get in and into our room.
