  Unfortunately the hot water system died the day we arrived, but management was wonderful during this very testing time. We were kept informed on progress of repairs and eventually taxied to another apartment. Staff also took time to offer sightseeing advice and hints to enhance our stay. Ample eating venues also a good little IGA Supermarket. Reasonably Quiet location for a good nights sleep in the comfortable bed. Enjoyed the bath/spa too ! Extra payment for car parking was clearly explained by staff but all ok. Just next door and undercover. Not a problem !

  The staff were fantastic. We had to leave luggage as we arrived early. This included a large box not heavy but cumbersome. When we returned at check in time we received a bottle of wine and help with our belongings to the 41st floor with fantastic views. Spacious apartments with all amenities.   It is the second time that I have stayed at ALT and it won't be that last. We had primary schooled aged kids and there is a community play ground across the road which was neat. Tram stop not far away as is a metro station. Cannot believe we got such a great view of the Melbourne skyline with the amount charged. The sunsets and sunrises from such a height were mesmerizing. Everything was neat and clean, parking was a plus. Overall bloody awesome. I have already recommended to a few friends and family.

  location was fantastic, right next to the amazing botanical gardens yet only a couple of tram stops to the city centre on the very central st kilda road. taxis were also abundant on this main road. the 2 bedroom apartments are very spacious and modern with 2 bathrooms and plenty of room for 4-5 guests. try and request an apartment on the 11th floo... vad folk säger » r or above for fantastic views over the botanical gardens. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. - Location was within 100 yards of the tram to downtown Melbourne, and within walking distance if you didn't want to wait. The in-room kitchen and laundry was very convenient. There were several markets and restaurants within walking distance. Our room was very clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful in assisting with limo ride to airport.

  This apartment included a full kitchen which I didn't expect - even a dishwasher, oven & Microwave. My husband was ill on the day we were leaving and the staff allowed us to keep our room for longer (free of charge). They also allowed us to store our luggage until we were ready to leave. - The location was perfect.   Staff is extremely helpful and lovely. The check-in time was 2pm, and I paid for the room with no view to the park. We arrived at 10am and due to low occupancy they let us check-in earlier with no extra cost and got us a room with a great view of the city overlooking the park. Paul was a delight.   Wonderful hotel with pleasent and helpful staff. We stayed in a 1 bedroom city view apartment and the room was large and as the pictures portrayed with a full kitchen and large fridge - much better than some of the other Oaks hotels I've stayed in, and the view was amazing. Location was excellent, so close to train and tram stop, and walking distance to so many different places of interest. Awesome cafes across the street for breakfast!   Very pleasant staff. Good clean rooms with a decent sized bathroom.
