The facilities were all good and the supply of kitchen items was just great for my business trip needs.   I recently spent 5 nights in a Studio Room at The Manor in order to attend a conference at the Brisbane Convention Centre and was very happy with my stay.   We arrived late after an extremely long journey from the uk and were immediately greeted warmly. We were told all about our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. The bath/wetroom was absolutely ideal for my wife who is disabled. It was quiet even though it was close to the breakfast room.   We had a fabulous stay and cannot fault the accommodation and facilities. A couple of things that were a stand out was the standard of our room - modern, comfy and clean and the location - pretty much walking distance to everything.   Room are very clean & very modern with all the gadgets that u need , the king size bed was great and the lay out of the 1 brm was just great Was great to just park the car in security parking. Had a great roof top swimming pool & gym. Easy to the public transport - bus stop over the road taking over 10 minutes into the city and travelling ... vad folk säger » in the evening was free. Super market was below the hotel. Bonus is that its very quiet and staff are very helpful - Central location. Secure parking. Staff followed up with a phone call (which we appreciated) after check-out re our complaint of poor TV reception - advising he had changed the cable and the reception was now fine. We weren't aware we could contact staff re the TV reception (as we thought it would cost us a "call-out" fee) considering it was the weekend and the hotel reception wasn't manned. We were happy with the cost for the 2 night stay.

  The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

  Right from the start when I spoke to Noelene on the phone I knew we would be happy with our accommodation. In the last week before our booking, I need to adjust the booking as we had two more children to cater for. The response from T.V. (Noelene) was most helpful. I would recommend T.V to my friends and will - The rooms were clean and a good size, the location handy for shops/restaurants and transport (trains and river-cat). There was a generous amount of laundry and dishwasher detergent provided which is rare! The beds comfortable, the linen good quality with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We had a lovely view of the Brisbane city skyline from our balcony. The location is quiet and perfect for families. I'd go again.

  This place was wonderful. I would fully recommend it to anyone that was thinking about staying here. it was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. There was a little bit of an issue with the washing machine/dryer as it was a bit temperamental but the staff had the magic touch and got it going. Has a great coffee bar right next door and just a short stroll of 200 meters to the famous James street. Certainly will stay here again on my next visit to Brisbane.

Parking on site was available and included in the room rate. Excellent staff at reception, very polite and enthusiastic.

  We stayed in an apartment facing the road with river views on the second storey. Nice big balcony and no road noise inside with doors closed. A very comfortable, nice sized apartment for our four day stay. Good supplies and restaurants in close walking distance, excellent on site parking and easy access in all directions. With the refurbished apartments and the completion of the proposed new ferry - I loved it's location in Park Road next to the restaurants- great for Sunday breakfast. And it was lovely having a river view from the balcony- very relaxing sitting there with a coffee. I also liked the interior design- where the front doors overlook the lobby.
