  The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

  I requested a room with a view as this was a special occasion. The room had a great view overlooking the river and park across the street. Most probably one of the best stays I have had in a hotel. The facilities were great and everything was clean and in a working order. Parking was great, easy to find and secure with direct access to the building. Both ladies I spoke with at reception were very professional and friendly and gave an excellent first impression.

  I loved the apartment , very confortable and it was so very convenient to city and Central Station.   Size of the apartment which was 3 bedroomed corner apartment would accomodate 2 families as it also had 2 bathrooms and was a really big living space. The undercover parking included in the price was a bonus and during the summer would be ideal, we were also travelling with a wheeelchair user and the lift from the carpark to the apartments made tr... vad folk säger » avel easy. We were in a corner apartment on the 7th floor and we had a fantastic view of both the river and the bridge with the city as a backdrop abs - The location was perfect, so close to Restaurants & the River. A short walk to the ferry wharf for a delightful cruise into the city. Our 3 bedroom apartment overlooking the river was a bonus & the resort size pool is great compared to hotel pools in general. Definitely a must stay in Brisbane!

  I liked the closeness to the city, the restaurants and cafes. I loved my room. The facilities were tremendous for the size of the room. Kitchenette, wardrobe, microwave etc etc. The bathroom was perfect. The staff were helpful. Check in and early leaving was easily arranged. The room was very clean. The staff were friendly with great attitude. The room was small but the bed was great. We didn't go to hide in the room, just sleep there at night. We would definitely stay again!

  I'm not sure why this place has received quite a few bad reviews, when I have nothing to complain about. The staff were lovely and very attentive, and helped us out with using the washing machine and fixing a window. The room had very good air con and foxtel, and a pretty decent kitchen. This is the best you will get considering the price, and in saying that i - 2 bedroom apartment had great living space and balcony. Staff most helpful during booking process and also on phone over weekend when office closed. Alliance Hotel right across the road served fabulous meals, friendly staff and lovely refurbished old pub. Also the little pizza joint was great too,cheap. 7/11 also next to that as well. Good vehicle parking access and great for getting from city around town and to airport. would definitely stay there again if apartment stay required.

  I loved it all, the room was perfect, clean, had everything provided for a our stay. Staff were brilliant. One day we were leaving to go down town, and it was just starting to rain. All basic necessities provided including a complete kitchenette unit. Very near to all amenities and shopping areas. Woolworth food store is just downstairs and is of great help. The reception are very supportive and extremely courteous. Especially Ms.Emma has been of great help. We will return to Republic Apartment in our next visit to Brisbane.

  Convenient location for our purposes and not far from the station. Self contained, clean and equipped kitchen in our room was great. Had everything we needed for staying for a weekend.   Our one bedroom apartment (No. 12) was very comfortable. The kitchen was fantastic, everything new and modern. We only stayed for 3 nights but for longer stays the kitchen would be tops. Coffee and breakfast on a sun-filled balcony was great. Comfortable lounge room with cable tv and a very comfortable queen bed in spacious enough bedroom. Best of... vad folk säger » all is the location. About an 8 minute walk to the free ferry system on the Brisbane River - A quiet location with reasonable access to city and Southbank via free ferry. Close to a number of eateries. Loved Motoki Japanese restaurant around corner. Despite being close to traffic, unit was quiet. Pool, tennis, bbq areas looked well maintained though we did not use them. Free parking and internet.
