  The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, I arrived 1am and the staff was waiting for us. The room has kitchen supplies, the location is surrounded by restaurants, pubs and the Flea Market. The next door neighbor is a grocery store, 10-15 min walking distance to Palermo Metro Station. A Taxi ride to AEP airport is about 70 pesos, to Puerto Mad... vad folk säger » ero is about 80 pesos. You can be very independent in this apart hotel. - Excellent location in happening Palermo... Loft was spacious and with cooking facilities, and one is quite independent to do as one pleases..   From reading other reviews before we chose Galarias Hotel, other reviewers mentioned that the entrance to the hotel is on a small narrow street. This is true, but it is just a half a block west of a main shopping pedestrian walkway. If you like being in the daily hustle- bustle of the locals, this is a good spot.   It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time.   The breakfast was very fine, the only problem was the small space in the first floor, So we had to have breakfast one day in the 2nd floor wich didn't have all the options for breakfast as in the 1st floor. Jacuzzi was very spaceful - One young man spoke excellent English and was very helpful.

Breakfast was minimal but enjoyable because there were no time constraints.
