  The accommodations and location were perfect for this writer seeking a six-week retreat of quiet, relaxing days and nights with immediate access to hiking trails, excellent bakery, inspirational natural surroundings on a mountain lake, walking distance to outstanding regional theater and the singular highlight of the region, the Carl Sandburg home... что говорят » and farm. The owner lives on premises and couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Every need was met. I look forward to another retreat next year, if - It is located on a beautiful little lake. The lodge provides fishing equipment, canoes, paddle boats, and even life preservers. The room, while small is very clean. The kitchenette comes complete with dishes and cooking pans. You just need to buy the food and fix it. The setting is gorgeous, especially the water flowing over the dam. I will stay there again on my next trip to the mountains.
