The Inn was extremely beautiful and Lou was very kind and warm. The grounds and views from Rae's Creek (the name of the room) are breathtaking. -
AS soon as we arrived we felt welcomed, very friendly, beautiful inn and all amenities and rooms were top notch will visit again soon.

Comfortable and secure, like staying with Mom! Beautiful home, spotless. It is not too often that one can feel as clean as at home when traveling. Inviting decor, quaint and very, very relaxing. The home was beautiful & the owner was so friendly we just loved her. The room and furnishings were beautiful, beautiful wood work original to the home. The breakfast was superb, along with the balcony that went with our room. We sat and relaxed after our long drive. We highly recommend this beautiful home and friendly owner. We will be back!

Charming parlor with fireplace and 24/7 pastries, coffee as well as 24/7 soft drinks in the kitchen. To-go cups also a great touch. Very large bathroom & lovely, comfy sleeping accommodations. Excellent homemade but gourmet breakfast buffet but very personal. Paul & Laura were very helpful with our plans for the next day. -

I loved everything from the quilts on the bed, the pure comfort of the room, the front porch at night watching the horse and buggies, walking distance to the shops and the free breakfast. What a treat that was! I loved it all and can't wait to come and stay with you again. -

A bit out of the town itself, but if like us, you're planning on touring Philadelphia on foot, it is not an issue at all. A 30 minute walk from, Philly, 15 mn from the museum and 30th St train station, it is nestled in University town, in a lovely and quiet area of old houses. The room we spent the night in looked EXACTLY like its picture on the website. We found it beautiful. Now for what you can't -
The home is a beautiful mid-19th century Victorian with gingerbreading, dark woods, and stained glass. The atmosphere is warm, comfy, and clean.
The house is an easy walk from the 30th street station and just over the bridge from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Rodin and Barnes Collections. It took about 20 minuter to walk to the former and a few minutes more to walk to the latter.

The Brownstone Colonial Inn is a gem. The restored farmhouse B&B is a perfect place to explore the rural areas of Pennsylvania's Amish country, Hershey, Lancaster County, etc. Mark and Brenda are wonderful hosts and the homelike feel of the Inn makes it extremely comfortable.
