  The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is just 2 blocks from the ferry port so if your stuck like we were in leaving the car on the main land you can walk leisurely. This hotel had us a wheelchair to use which saved our vacation since the ferry service is inadequate - The staff was welcoming. They could not do enough for you.   The beautiful inn, all the furniture , the staff & shopping in the area. I was only there one night but we had a wonderful time with our friends! The Red Lion In is a lovely quaint hotel that we would come back to again. I was only slightly dissatisfied with the restaurant. I did have a great lunch at then nearby cafe. Overall my husband & - This is an old fashioned New England Inn that is being kept up to date with excellent maintenance, good modern services--wi fi when it works, digital tv, fitness center, very comfortable bed and comfortable chairs in each room. The public areas are inviting, a library and computer terminal are available and easily accessible. Food in the dining room is very good, service is excellent. Superb shower.
