Travelling as family with two older children 21 and 18, we chose the one
bedroom suite with two double beds (most comfortable hotel beds we have
ever slept in). The suite also had a bed settee in the lounge area. The
suite was spacious and very comfortable with super TV's in bedroom

From the moment we entered the kimberly hotel in new york we were greeted with smiles from the receptionist. Our plane arrived in early so we knew check in was at around 3 o clock. So we were prepared to drop our bags and head off to check out the sights but to our surprise the room was ready for us when we got there which was fantastic. Really from there on the staff were great they even sent me up a birthday cake for my birthday:-)
The hotel was beautiful the bed was amazing so cosy and soft.

We loved everything about this hotel. There was always a doorman to open
the door, and friendly staff at the desk to welcome us every time we
returned to the hotel. The elevators were fast. The room was very
comfortable, with high-quality furnishings. Loved the Keurig
coffeemaker, and the tv in the bathroom. Enjoyed the free breakfasts,
and there was always a New York Times available to read with our coffee.

What didn't I like?? It was at a great location 5-10 mins walk to Empire State and Times Square. Subway is only a block away. You have a 24 hour organic deli across the road Bread and Butter. Korean food and restaurants open till late. 15-20min walk to Chelsea and soho. Les Halle's french restaurant is just across the road!

The staff was wonderful and attentive. We had requested a late check out, as we were in NYC celebrating a milestone birthday. Not only were we granted the late check out, but just minutes after checking into our room, the hotel attache was at our door, delivering scrumption cupcakes with a chocolate "Happy Birthday" plaque. Such a lovely touch, it was very much appreciated and immediately kicked off the weekend in birthday celebration mode.

We arrived an hour early and were let into our room which we didn't expect. Staff were very friendly at reception and gave us free spanish tapas vouchers for use at the bar in the hotel. The security of the hotel. After hours having to use your room key to get past the door security officer then also to make the lift work makes you feel safe. The staff is always happy and friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay memorable for the right reasons. The breakfast was awesome too.
