The room was better than expected. I have stayed at hotels in Manhattan which were costly and the rooms were very small. The one bedroom suite was large enough for 4 persons. This is a beautiful hotel. The room was extremely clean and up-to-date. Our beds were comfortable. It definitely fit our needs for NYC. It was very close to everything - walking distance to 5th Avenue, Broadway, Times Square - but we were not in the midst of the crowds, noise and chaos. Suitable for city trip.
Staff was great. Our room smelled like someone smoked, this was handled well by staff, we were given another room next day. Best were Dan and Henry (I hope I'm right about the name). Dan is the soul of the hotel, friendly and helpful. Don't know about remaining staff.

My boyfriend and I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was,
especially with our dog who was staying with us. When we arrived there

Location was outstanding. Central positioning in Midtown, v close to Empire State & Times Square.
Every request from the hotel was met - extra bedding delivered immediately. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfasts v good.
Some people have complained about the fact that only 2 elevators served (I think) up to 12 floors. Yes there were the

The location is terrific. It is in the middle of manhattan and next to
important subway stations. Extremely convenient transportation. The next
door is 5th avenue and macy'S. Also it is near korean town and cafes
and bars so that both western and eastern style food is easy to get. The
room I am in is quite new, with big tv and good city view to Empire
building (if you stay above 16th floor). Breakfast is very nice indeed.
And the most important, staffs are very nice! Especially Mathew!

restaurants deliver and staff helped us set up in breakfast room to have
our dinner. Love that it was pet friendly. Felt very welcomed with my

Stayed here for a couple of days before dropping my daughter to summer
camp. The staff here are so welcoming and bend oer backwards to please.
We were upgraded upon arrival. The rooms and bathrooms in this hotel are
huge compared to most rooms in Manhattan and the decor is funky yet
comfortable. The location is fabulous. 3 minutes to Grand Central
Station and about 10 minutes to Macys. I love this hotel so much that
I'm going back in 3 weeks to stay for a week!!!
