The location is close enough that I never had to drive anywhere, me and my fiance were able to walk everywhere anytime of day and be safe! Night clerk (Eustice) was one of the most friendly & helpful clerks
that I have ever seen at any hotel. He always called us by name. He
always asked if there was anything else he could do for us & even
offered to refund taxi fare when the cabbie dropped me off at the wrong
Hilton! Great man--don't lose him.

the rooms were great, clean and quiet with comfortable bedding. We also loved that breakfast and was served Monday each morning, and dinner was served Monday thru Thursday for free, with very good hot and enjoyable meals. superb!!! They were pleasant from the time we checked in up to the
moment we checked out. This was one of my best stay at any hotel and I
have stayed at many hotels. Management did an awesome job in choosing

I liked that it was in a quiet street but only a five minute walk from the hub of activity. I absolutely loved the Ruby Slipper right next door for breakfast every morning, why go anywhere else!! wonderful staff made you feel at home -- very helpful and joyful -- kept the room clean while we were there for 5 days -- had great recommendations and were interested in your adventures in New Orleans; and best of all the whole hotel is non-smoking!!!!!!
and you can't beat the location -- access to all of NOLA at your fingertip! Can jump on any streetcar to take you around town; walking distance to French Quarter; Warehouse District and the Riverfront.

I loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend. I use to live in New Orleans, but this was my husband's first visit and we had a blast. We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Both Valet and Front desk were

Loved the location. Was able to walk to the Superdome for the game.
Able to walk to or was picked up at the hotel for all excursions.
It's far enough away from Bourbon Street to be able to sleep with
no noise and close enough to be on Bourbon Street to walk there in
minutes. It's about a 20 minute walk to Frenchman Street. I would
stay there again.
