The James Hotel is owned and run by Sr. Torre and his daughter, and the care and love they have for their property is evident throughout. The staff is wonderful and accommodating - without exception, every staff member was happy and helpful. It was an amazing value. Lots of space in the room, yes the furniture is a bit out of date, but it worked perfectly fine and it was very clean. I will always stay here when I'm in south beach. They are also very flexible with check in and check out times. My flight arrived at 9am and they let me into my room well before the designated check in time.

  My boyfriend and I, both 26, loved the Starlite Hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The location was great (right on the strip with all of the awesome bars and restaurants), and we were literally ten feet away from the beach. You can't beat the adorable and *clean* rooms combined with the inexpensive rates.   Since im a student, i'd say It's a good place to stay if you don't want to coast a lot, and the location is close to the ocean, I love clubbing but I don't want to live near club place cuz it's going to be so noisy in evening.
