Great location! Very well insulated room, very quiet and clean. Very good bed. Upon arrival we asked the young lady at the desk for a nice bistro around, and she referred us to a very special place close to the hotel where we really enjoyed organic food and the most pleasant ambiance for a couple of meals. She took the time with the nicest smile.

Location is great for sight seeing. We were able to walk to everything and Metro is half block away if needed. Staff was very friendly and had nice recommendations for places to eat. The staff were courteous and helpful. Liked the Starbucks down on the ground floor. Loved the fact it was above Metro Center and around the corner from the White House, Spy Museum, Crime Museum and some high street brands plus Macy's across the street. Also within walking distance to Chinatown and restaurants. Very central and accessible because of subway below.
Good breakfast. appreciated the fact it had free laundry room use - very important as we were on the road for a month.

Everything!!! The hotel had a great location, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, great value for money (compared to the other hotels we used on our 5 week holiday in the US) and the room was well set-out, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is nice enough, but after reading the descriptions and reviews I expected something more. My room was quite big and very clean, but nothing that special about it. Maybe the Victorian rooms are more interesting. Garden, lobby and restaurant room are quite beautiful. Location is ok, can walk to major DC attractions, but it's not a short walk.

As a mature couple we found the Hotel to meet all of our needs.

while checking in we immediately needed access to our vehicle that had

and stored our bags enabling us to complete some necessary phone calls
