  Get a room with a view of the falls. On an upper floor. Beautiful view of temple, falls and mountains. It may cost more but is worth it. Actually, I found the price an average one. The room was clean and big. Mattress looked brand new and was comfortable to sleep on. There is a balcony also. Management has put some effort into little details that your typical chain does not have and price was on par, possibly cheaper than competition--family suite exceeded our expectations with so much extra space and extra bath--like an apartment. Some home-made items at breakfast buffet--n - The staff were very friendly and service oriented. They thought of things that I didn't expect. For instance, I needed to leave at 4:25 AM and they offered to get me some food before my flight even though the breakfast didn't start until 5:00 AM. The room was very clean and the hotel was very quiet. I was also able to control the room temperature to make it cooler.

  We were driving from Jackson, wy after a funeral, 3 generations of grieving females. We had one member taking a shuttle to slc for a flight and 2 others flying out of Idaho Falls in the morning. Their staff took very good care of us and all of our last minute needs. Our grieving continued and then we left for 3 separate states (ca, mn & id). - The bed was heavenly, the room very clean, large and pleasant, the breakfast very good, and the staff excellent and extremely helpful every step of the way. Although they were booked solid, the motel was quiet and well-run.
