Location was very convenient and close to a wide variety of businesses and services. The quality of the picture on the TV was blah, but I also loved the functionality of being able to use the Lodgenet app to control and view the TV programming via my Android cell phone.

My husband and I were bumped from a flight at dca at 11:30 pm on June

The Metro (subway) was closer than I expected and easy to walk to. Just
remember to go out the back door, up the street in back and under the

It was so extremely close to dc and all of the major attractions, the
room was very clean and spacious, the beds were comfy, the breakfast was
good and the staff all very helpful and friendly. The pool was small but
I loved that there was a lifeguard and being able to sit and relax and
not worry about my kids being in a huge pool by themselves.

The Chef was a prince of a fellow. A month before arriving I made a request for the room service menu to be faxed so I could design what I wanted. He (the Chef-Aron- I believe) helpfully sent it to me. When I went downstairs for the breakfast he greeted me and told me that no one goes away hungery and his buffet was great. He is a class act. -

We were only there for an overnight stay. We checked in at 1:00am and checked out at 10:30am. But the room was very clean and everything was in its place. The front desk staff was very courteous and very informative about the hotel's amenities and services. I would stay there again.

I liked the room. It was very comfortable. I liked the location for access to the D. C. area. The metro was very close so we could get to where we wanted to go quickly. This hotel was amazing! The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. No matter who it was whether the manager or a housekeeper they would take the time to say hello. The room was beautiful and the location was really great. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast they serve was really good as well. The front desk manager, zemy? I'm not sure of her name was exceedingly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I'll definitely be staying there again.

It was terrific. Staff very very welcoming and friendly. Facilities (like the coffee station and free WiFi) were excellent. The common areas were quite comfortable and spacious. Rachel in the breakfast area was very polite and efficient. She could have used some help from additional staff on Sunday morning. On Monday, the manager was assisting her with keeping up with the food demands of the guests. The rooms were spacious, quiet and very comfortable.

The hotel is just across the Metro train station and Washington is just a 15-minute ride away.
Alexandria itself is a nice town with some 18- & 19-century homes and lively cafes and restaurants lining up King St., so you won't feel at the evening being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

The staff was friendly. Parking was only $10 per day. A few blocks from

There was also a grocery store, pharmacy and convenience store a few

Overall the the hotel excellent and is in a good location to visit Washington as it is close to a subway and within walking distance/bus ride of the wonderful and vibrant Georgetown. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel/room was clean and comfortable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights in late May. The staff are excellent and like most things make the difference between a good/bad customer experience and an excellent one. We are experienced travellers (all over the world) and found the staff across the board very helpful and courteous.
