Jenny is a fabulous host and cook. She is friendly and helpful, with good advice for travellers. There are two large lounge rooms, books, toys, games. Everything! We had a very friendly greeting and taken straight to our
room as we were tired travelling, served tea and biscuits on our own
little veranda in a beautiful garden setting. The acommodation was
spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated, much thought having gone
into the comfort of each guest. The best breakfast selection we have
ever had and pleanty of it! Fabulous relaxing stay, and Jenny was just
wonderful, we loved her!!!!

Even though we arrived slightly early Steve gave us a very warm welcome. The cottage is very nicely furnished with lots of homely feel. We enjoyed sitting in a quiet and beautifull garden in the heart of the countryside.
The breakfast was very good, with lots of fresh coffee. The room was large, clean and well decorated, with superb views across open countryside. A great place to stay.

me and my husband stayed here monday to friday and had a great holiday our room was clean and very comfy breakfast was really good and plenty of it , we go to a lot of hotels in GB as my husband will not fly and this was one of the best places we have stayed will be back and will be recommending to friends and family , Gill was very nice and saved

E It was a beautiful location, far enough away from Bath to relax and yet accessible. It was lovely to be able to get up when we wanted to and make breakfast in the way we wanted it. The bed was huge and everything was clean and tastefully decoraed. The owner was very friendly and we loved her cats.

The owner was pleasant and helpful (allowed me to leave my backpack after checkout time on my last day, since I had an evening train). This is a lovely little hotel with a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Terry is a friendly and polite host who cares for his guests very much (for example: offers an umbrella when it rains). Both my room and the bathroom were spotless clean. I really enjoyed my stay at the White Lodge very much, and I will recommend this hotel to my friends. Also, I would love to stay there again next time, if possible...

I would like to say alot of thanks to the host sara. She is a very good host. If I come next time I would preferr to stay at her place. It was very neat and clean, well managed . Was made to feel 'at home'. As a lone female, I felt comfortable
and not intimidated, as can happen in other hotels I have stayed at.
Staff very warm and welcoming, beds very comfy and very quiet at night.

Free upgrade from a triple room to a 4 bedroom cottage due to unforeseen circumstances, much better than cancelling our reservation. Can't fault them, went the extra mile to arrange access for us even though we were arriving late in the evening. -
