The setting was great: very near the shops but it felt nicely out of the town and was very quiet indeed. It was a very cosy and romantic place, and the staff were fantastic. Very friendly staff with good food. The breakfast was delicious but beware of the portion size (huge). The coaching inn is in the centre of Devizes. Ask to see the cellars as they were part of a tunnel system that ran all around Devizes in the old days. Room No. 4 is said to be one of the most haunted in England.

The hotel was excellent for the price. I felt that the photos on the website and the comments from other customers did not give an accurate picture. We would certainly stay at the Old Manor Hotel again if in the area and reccommend it without hesitation. I would change the way the hotel is portayed on the site though, we were pleasantly surprise

Convenient location - close to Salisbury Cathedral. Short walk to down-town/city centre. Lovely old building. Room comfortable and clean. Good breakfast included with room.
Salisbury is a splendid city. There are lots of historic buildings, and the local people are all very friendly and helpful with directions.

Staff were friendly and approachable and provided good service. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. I had a very comfortable bed with lovely pillows which meant I slept really well. The from was a good size and clean with a well stocked complimentary basket, made a nice change to have plenty of milk and tea bags.
