  We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Very happy with both rooms (twin and double). Found reviews read before going to the hotel did not, in our opinion, reflect the way we found it.   I only stayed one night - the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, bright and cool.   We were so impressed with our apartment, we booked an additional two nights on the tail end of our trip. The following mornings breakfast was more of the same and at the end when I saw the bill - Travelled to Lavenham for a weekend break. It is a beautiful little town, steeped in history with pretty tudor buildings lining the streets. This Great House is set in the market square in the centre of the town and is a beutiful building in a wonderful setting. Our room was beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable and fully equiped with coffee machine & complimentary sherry! The icing on the cake is the hotel restaurant - the food is amazing! Make sure you book your table ahead

  I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was superb.the bed was really comfortable. The food was of a high standard.the bar had a lovely log fire and a good selection of local ales and lager all resonably priced.all in all I found it a great choice except that as I travelled by train, the nearest station darsham involve... что говорят » d a £15 taxi ride but that at least was my choice.i would certainly stay there again. - we stayed in a kinda annex the room was called Southgate. It was really comfortable. There was a DVD called "Whatever happened to Dunwich" that was entertaining! The meal at night and breakfast was fabulous...and "Mine host" was helpful and friendly....Plenty of free parking and the beach 2 mins away...I'm sure we will stay again
