I enjoyed my stay here, although it is true to say that it is different from most hotels. The room has everything from kettle, toaster, fridge plus food and drinks for the following morning's breakfast. It is possible to stay there without seeing anyone. The security code on the front door is a good idea and makes it convenient for everyone. I would recommend this guest house to other people. We very much enjoyed our stay. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. At short notice, they helped us to find a local flower shop to get a bouquet of flowers for a 100 birthday. I was made very welcome whilst checking in, indeed I was a few hours early. The room although the smallest was more than sufficient for my 1 night stay. The bed linen was excellent and the room was spotlessly clean. I missed the full 'English breakfast' as I had to leave early but I had no doubt it would be excellent - as was my stay. -

A nice and peaceful location. Only a couple of miles away from Newmarket.
The breakfast was great. Really set me up for the day. A nice added touch to have a little bottle of Actimel to drink.
The room was nice and comfortable and a good size.
Was really kind of Wally to give me and my daughter a lift into Newmarket in the morning instead of having to get a taxi.
If we do visit Newmarket again we would consider staying again.

Our room was large and airy and beautifully furnished, the bed was a 4 poster and really comfortable . Breakfast was a lovely surprise as we had been expecting a continental breakfast, but we had the full works, which was very tasty . We were made very welcome,and the house is elegant,comfortable and very conveniently situated, so altogether a very pleasant stay!
