EVERYTHING was fabulous from the minute we walked in. We were greeted by the manager who showed us into the lounge where we had a scrumtious afternoon tea.we were then upgraded to a fabulous suite we even had our own xmas tree .this was our 2nd visit WE WILL BE BACK.. -

We liked the nearness of the City but just out far enough to have a
quiet feel. It was about 15 minutes from railway station so we were able

We thought the suite was beautiful. The bed was so, so comfortable and the layout of the room very much to our liking. The whole suite was "quality". The breakfast was immense and kept us going until early evening. The staff we met were very polite and very attentive. The area outside our suite was very nice but the weather wasn't conducive to sitting outside. I would recommend "Mount Royale" very highly! Convenient to the city and all its attractions.

Upgrade to top suite, much appreciated. Impeccable, top notch service. Good car parking facilities. Convenient short cab ride into York city centre, also good for racecourse. - Everything. Stayed in the courtyard area and it was delighful. The room was fantastic. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Certainly will be going back there again.
