  The staff were extremely helpful and we enjoyed being in the surroundings of the old part of the hotel. It had character as well as having modern facilties. The location was not only ideally central it was also very picturesque being surrounded by the georgian buildings around the square.   The hotel quality is great. Huge beds - everything well maintained and good quality. Breakfast was good - lots of choice. Great bar attached to the hotel.   Very close to Princess Street with its many shops and eating places,with the train station a short walk away. Food was good and the staff very friendly and helpful, the lounge area was warm and inviting and the rooms clean and comfortable. - The bed was very comfortable, and very big!
