Great to have so much space. The apartment was very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a great time sitting at the widow "people watching" on the royal mile. We had a fabulous one night stay at The Chester Residence. Staff were very helpful and the suite was fantastic. All rooms were very spacious (we had the 1st floor suite) and the location was only about 5 minutes walk from Haymarket and Princes Street. Handy for Princes Street, Usher Hall, theatres and cinemas, but quiet too. Shops and restaurants nearby. Secure basement parking on site. Comfortable beds. Nice views of castle to rear and canal basin from lounge. Communal lobby and lift were clean too.

The apartment space was luxurious, comfortable, very well thought out and utilised - with modern open-plan living in mind, balcony with fold back door to seamlessly bring the outside space in, serviced to a high standard daily; friendly and very helpful staff. The Owners of the appartment are extremely pleasant, helpful and responsive........nothing is to much trouble and the communication was excellent. The appartment is fantastic, with a large living space, large comfortable bedrooms and a well equiped kitchen. The location is fantastic,nothing is more than a 10 min walk away, at most. Very clean, very smart and I would thoroughly recommend. I travelled with my two boys (11 and 12) for the Open at Muirfield and was great for access to Edinburgh Waverley whilst being right next to Calton Hill and 15 mins from Arthur's Seat (bottom not top) for the great views of Edinburgh. -
