An excellent bed and breakfast - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
It is in a great location (central, near pubs and restaurants but quiet).
The rooms are a good size and well appointed. The shared living area is open plan and welcoming with warm fires, reading materials and games if required.

The bedroom was luxurious and furnished to a very high standard. Obviously much thought had gone into its design.The entrance and reception rooms were spacious and elegant.Our breakfast was better than we have had in most hotels.The owners were relaxed friendly and helpful.We had a reasonable evening meal about a hundred yards walk away across the square.

We stayed at the Golden Lion Inn in May as part of our trip around the UK.The pub was excellent and appears to be doing very well considering the number of people eating and drinking at it. The room and facilities were excellent and the food very good although it was a bit hard to find a seat if you have not made a reservation for dinner. The staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome even though they were very busy. Highly Recomended.

Everything! This is a wonderful hotel. Standards are really high. The hotel is in a lovely little village, made famous by Dylan Thomas who lived there. Our room was in a new wing, on the site of the old ballroom. It was absolutely perfect. Wi-Fi in the room, HD TV, really comfortable double bed and a great shower. Tea and coffee making facilities included real coffee and a plunger coffee pot. Food in the bar was great and breakfast exceptional! Highly recommended!

Cathie and Lucy were excellent friendly welcoming hosts. Taincwm is a lovely house in a tranquil spot with stunning views. The room was clean, bright and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent and set me up nicely for a winter days sightseeing on the way home.
I would highly recommend Taincwm and would gladly stay there again when next in the area.

What l liked the most was the breakfast, it was delicious, abundant, and at a very good price. The building it's been recently refurbished, there is no luxury but it looks new and it is confortable, everything was very clean and the staff are amiable and effective. -
