From the moment we arrived, we were looked after really well by attentive staff. They took us to our room, carried luggage, explained the wifi and advised about booking a table in the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely, and though we thought we'd eat elsewhere at least once, we ended up eating at the Riverside every single day. The menu is great and varied, and the food is of high quality. Something for everyone.

We were welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuits after a long journey down from London. We loved the 'honour' bar system in the evening. The breakfast was delicious - all home made or local food. Beautiful view across the valley.

The summer house is a beautiful little hotel booked by my sister, wonderful rooms, really pretty with lots of lovely little details. Really nice owners happy to do anything for you and breakfast was memorable. Will definitely be staying again.

The reception that we were greeted with was very welcoming.We were shown to our room and everyhing was explained really well of how to use everything in the room .The room was beautifull,really decorated well and clean and comfortable with plenty of space.

If you want a formal 4/5 star environment, don't come to Lower Barn! It is informal, very friendly, eclectic in design and appearance - you could say "quirky" - and that isn't pejorative. Bright colours everywhere,clever ideas - .how many people would use a huge cable reel end as a dining table ? - on which we had excellent breakfasts

When we arived, everybody was so nice. (and the stayed nice all the time!) Our chamber was like a little house and we had a tv with some nice dvd's, so we could watch a movie (or two). The colors in the room were fantastic! Every little thing was designed and it was beautiful. We had dinner at the bed and breakfast. That was amazing! There was also an hot tub. lovely!

Great hosts, very welcoming & helpful. Explained everything well. Breakfast superb, varied choices excellently prepared. Bedroom excellent,well designed interior with both bath and large separate shower. Superb views over countryside to the sea from our room. Pippa was very helpful explaining the local restaurants in Padstow and the surrounding area. We had a great time and sad that it wasn't longer. We look forward to returning soon.

We found the caravan very clean and lived up to the 5 Stars. The location of it was next to the shop and very close to the swimming pool. A very well run site which was quiet at night with no disruption for other guests. -
