The smugglers has 3 rooms all of which are named after local artists they all have separate entrances and are very clean and comfortable the owners of the restaurant were really friendly and helpful food in the restaurant was excellent we would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking. We will be going back next year

Loved the location - right on the beach easy 3-5 minute walk into town. Staff was extremely friendly. Beach house was comfy and roomy and decorated as a beach house not uptight hotel. Office recommended horse back riding that was cheap n fun - they rented movies also for free which was nice.

All of the staff were very welcoming, and work hard to ensure you have a great stay. Having stayed in a few of the Hotels rooms now, weve found them all to be very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was first class, with plenty of choice, and very well cooked. The hotel was well designed and the situation could not have been better, sat above the beach at Mawgan Porth, with spectacular views. Beautiful building. We had a lovely room in the main building with a great view. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. The Fowey Hall hotel was amazing! The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. The suite was clean and comfortable every day of our stay. Children are welcome and provided recreational activities indoors and outdoors. Breakfast was wonderful, my girls miss Cherish, the greatest waitress! Overall our stay was amazing in this beautiful former Hanson mansion. Still maintaining it's character and 19th century charm. We will definitely visit again.

Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

I liked the fact that the 'standard' room provided a view and a Queen sized bed. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were cotton - always a good sign. - The general ambience of this hotel is based on a peacefull quality stay.We have stayed there before and will go again. Very nice walks.

Extremely well presented hotel and I love the period decor and the ornate wood paneling in the dining room. Breakfast buffet was very good, and the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were extremely clean. It was a very relaxing place to be. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Trenython Manor. When we have reason to be in that part of Cornwall in the future it is likely that we will use your hotel again. Happy customers. Steve and Donna

The Artist Residence is a cosy and lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, full of details and nice decorated (each room by a different artist). Breakfast is excellent and staff is really helpful and efficient. Its location - in a quiet street - is excellent for those using public transports, as the hotel is close to the railway and bus station. Very good value for money.

We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast.
We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs.

Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm.
Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in.
Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!)
The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold.
All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!
