It was genuinely nice place to be. The staff were lovely and the decor was simple but in very good taste (subjective). Food was excellent and reasonably priced and the breakfast was Superb. Staff very friendly and welcoming, couldn't do enough to help. Excellent location to explore Jedburgh and other towns in the Borders. Lots of history and lovely scenery. Breakfast good quality. Evening meal menu well priced, good quality. Large room well appointed. Outside tables and seats to enjoy the garden. Off street parking. Free wi-fi. Small and friendly hotel, well worth a visit.

The room was lovely and the service was excellent. Since we were exploring the area around Selkirk and had only one day, we did not have time to hunt for restaurants. It was wonderful to have an excellent restaurant to come back to in our own hotel. - Excellent service, staff very attentive, food was superb and standard room was excellent.

We were only there for one night and did not eat in the evening as we were in the castle at a wedding. Room was fine and the bed was really cosy! The breakfast was good and well presented. The service was excellent - nice surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. Would definately stay again and would recommend. -

After conversation with the owners we ended up staying at Coldstream Bank House rather than Duns House, as it was more convenient for us. It was excellent, beautiful accommodation, very comfortable and a lot of thought had been put into the rooms. Owners very nice, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. -

The room was well presented and very clean.
The full english or should I say Scottish breakfast was very tasty and filling.
