  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Horizon. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. I thought the modern decor of the hotel was nice (considering it is an older hotel).   We were made to feel very welcome on arrival at reception. The receptionist was cheerful, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff in the dining room were pleasant and helpful too. We would definitely stay again. The Fox Family, Cumbria - Your Staff are fantastic. When there was no outlet to plug in a CPAP machine near the bed, the woman at the desk promptly found an extension cord for us to use. - The girl at reception was apologetic and offered to set up another bed in the room. Nice to have restaurant facilities on site. Quiet and clean accommodation.
