  Very well situated, easy to find. Stafff were very pleasent and helpful. The beds in the twin room were very comfortable. The Bumble Bee pub next door was very convient and excellent food. - friendly staff and on noticing my wife has walking limitations they relocated us to the ground floor. Also the pub /restaurant next door very good.

  If you stay on a Saturday night then make sure you have the steak meal we did and was absolutely enjoyable. Staff are extremely helpful, we had a great weekend when we stayed & even booked an additional night. Don't go on the poor reviews as this place is value for money & yes we would stay again...   It is a proper pub with accommodation great home from home loved it great breakfast . Stayed 2 nights but would have liked to have stayed longer. - Good breakfast. Evening meal - generous portion and great value for money. Bed comfortable. Plenty hot water.

  The staff were exceptionally friendly and the welcome was warm and sincere. The lounge/lobby/bar area was comfortable and had free wi-fi access. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant where we also enjoyed a hearty breakfast the next morning. The hotel was pet-friendly at no extra charge.
