Location is excellent with loads of buses into the city centre but the local bars and restaurants in Leith offer a huge choice, plus the new shopping centre is only yards away from the front door of the hotel. I was lucky they had rooms available and for the same price as well. Its called Express By Holiday Inn City Center.

Stylish balcony apartment in peaceful waterfront development. Kitchen exceptionally equipped, all areas immaculate, plenty of hotel-type comforts provided eg shampoo, soap, coffee, tea, and handy extras eg washing up liquid and cloths, binliners etc. No prob checking in early. First of all, the location was extraordinary. The sea (Firth of Forth) is just behind the hotel and you wake up, seeing big steamships and small fisher boats on the water.

homely feel due to there being all the facilities such as a clean cooker, washing machine..etc that we required for our stay. also liked the fact that it was an apartment that we could come and go as we pleased rather than having to go to a hotel reception for the keys or throgh a reception area and also that we did not have to leave the room to go

We paid the minimum and got the maximum in comfort with a freely given upgrade. The staff were very welcoming and were pleased that we were pleased. Absolutely wonderful place to stay!!! We came with a 4 month old, and they could not have been more accommodating! It was raining and they even lent us umbrellas for the day.
