Better than I expected it to be. Clean and neat, very well maintained for a hostel. Beds were quite comfortable.
Shower room is very clean. The eco-friendly shower facility is rather interesting although a tad troublesome.

I booked the double room and it was great. Young vibe, linen and towels, makeup area. Even a teamaker and coffee/tea.
The inn is part of a bar - very nice to sit in for a dring or a meal.
The stuff is very friendly and the location is right in the center.
Basically I loved everything besided the shower facilities.

I was there because my son was competing in the Special Olympics in Bath. I stayed at the YHA because it was close to the University campus and a good price and I like an adventure. I regularly stay here because of my commuting lifestyle. Having stayed in all of Bath's hostels, YHA is definitely the best.. By far! It has so many more benefits and facilities than the others. The showers are actually hot in private wet rooms within a communal setting. I also like that there is a sink in all of the dorm rooms. Lovely Georgian house which is a 20 minute walk into Bath benefiting from private parking and a beautiful garden. We stayed in the Indian room which was full of items collected in our hosts' travels. The breakfasts were superb enjoyed at a communal table with "proper" tea from silver teapots. A thoughtful touch was the Radio Times in each room if you had time to watch.T.V The Hollies proved to be in an ideal situation to visit Bath and the surrounding countryside

Very quiet. Slept well. I stayed before in Bath city centre hotels and the noise from the street made it hard to sleep full nights. But it was great at the university of Bath. It is a bit out of the city, but then again, it is quiet. Also has great facilities on-site: supermarket, cashpoints, post office desks, bars, etc. -

... что говорят » xpected - despite having booked a single I got a small double bed which was lovely. Breakfast was also good and while the uni is out of town the bus runs every ten or twenty minutes from around 7.30 to midnight so getting around wasn't a problem. For the price it's a bargain.
