The extremely courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiatic staff, made me feel happy and totally welcome from the moment that I arrived at the Ampersand, until the minute that I climbed into my taxi for the airport. The proximity to Victoria Train & Coach station. 5min walk for both. Hop on Hop off bus at the Train station. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to eat. We had the Studio room at the very top of the building. Small but comfy. Breakfast items are restocked each day. eg,. Cereal, pastrys, fruit, juice, cheese, bread, milk, coffee, selection of teas, biscuits. Free wifi. There is a computer if you need to print something off. It is in the main office. Toiletries supplied and replenished daily.Staf

We were able to leave luggage there when we arrived early. Our room was
very nice and quiet. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Super convenient for Paddington Station and for access to other
transportation for sight seeing. We had a wonderful stay. There are a
variety of restaurants near the hotel including Chinese, Indian and
Greek although since we weren't too hungry we picked up a sandwich

All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay at the Rubens again, our room was recently refurbished and was in excellent condition.
