We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. The staff at the front desk were all cheerful, booked our taxis flawlessly, and provided an electrical adapter for only a deposit. The room was clean and the towels large and plush. The A/C worked fine and kept us quite cool. We stayed on three occasions for a total of eleven nights during June
& July 2013.
The hotel is situated in a "business area" with the popular Borough Market nearby. It is within walking distance of the underground and many of London's tourist attractions. We always felt safe walking in the area.

We had a fantastic week in St. Cristopher Village.
The hostel is in a very central position and it's very simple to move, furthermore the area is not completely dead at night, as it seems for the most of the City, and if your on holiday that matters.
We found out that the hostel was surprisingly clean, even though it's completely administered by

great atmosphere. 15 minutes on foot from Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The
Tower (however, we walk quite fast so it can take app. 20-25 min.).
Underground station "London Bridge" 3 minutes from the
hostel. Free internet access (well-working). £35 for one person for two
nights in the last weekend of April in London is in my opinion really
good price.
