  I'm on gluten free diet - had no problems whatsoever. The chef even amended the Valentine's Day menu in the Grill Room. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. The rooftop hyropool was wonderful. - The upgrade to our room was very comfortable and appreciated. The staff were all very helpfull and friendly.

  This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. It was a pleasure the rooms are not modern although they do have the touches like the plasma tv and modern bathroom. Overall I would not change anything about the hotel it was perfect.   The corridors were quite dark but when my room door was open it was fabulous - I loved the decor of the room, the bathroom was enormous with a fabulous shower and it's got to be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Just a pity that it was quite noisy and there was lots of clicking and ticking from things in the room. The staff were great, the lady that sho - The hotel was convenient to both old town and new town areas. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside.

  Great value for money. The apartments are well appointed, very clean and fresh. Our first visit to Edinburgh, and we found the location good - really very handy to New Town and Prince Street Gardens just around the corner, and not too far a walk to Old Town. The location was not only ideally central it was also very picturesque being surrounded by the georgian buildings around the square.   If you go to Edinburgh I really recomend you to stay on Royal Overseas League Hotel. The staff service is very kind and good facilities.. If you need to have an early breakfast there are not problem, you're going to have it on your room with all that you want to eat. I recommend the Scottish breakfast that is all included on the prize. There is a room called "Castle suite" with a marvelous sight of Edinburgh's C - -Friendly staff. -Great location- only a short walk to key places (waverley, castle, etc). -Room nicely furnished. -Extremely comfortable bed, the best nights sleep that I've had in a long time. -Nice atmosphere. -The cost to stay was the lowest that I could find in the area on that night (just £57), yet you wouldn't have thought it for how nice the place was. Because of this, I would definitely stay again and will recommend to others.
