It's more a city pub with rooms.
Handy for shopping, theatres and eating out.
Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

I stayed here for one night when I went to Leeds to explore the city.
It's in a great location! Takes just a few minutes to walk to the
city centre and the main bus station. Its a nice hotel and a great value
for money. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and very
comfortable, very good air conditioning which is handy in the winter
cold, and there is a good selection of tv channels. The showers are
fantastic. Overall just a great hotel, highly recommended.

The welcome was great and the receptionist was very helpful, giving us a map, showing directions and telling us about 'extras', such as the Christmas market. The bed was so comfortable and the the breakfast was awesome, and my children ate for free. the lux bathroom cream was so soothing after my long drive to leeds. - Bed was very comfortable, and exceptionally clean! HEating was very easy to control and the room was quite spacious for the price range.

A family hotel whose staff were amazingly helpful and attentive - even swapping us to a ground-floor room (due to a broken ankle) without needing to be asked and despite its being a family room rather than the twin we had booked! Delicious breakfast, with generous variety (both continental and cooked). Superb location for the universities - just across the road. Right on bus route for shopping or bus/coach/train stations. Yet a feeling of being in the country - "at home" in the country. Thank

This was a really great place to stay during some unusually cold and snowy weather in Leeds. Clean, comfortable and warm, the hotel provided an excellent breakfast and has a cozy lounge to sip a drink in. - We Were made very welcome, it was nice and clean and the room had easy chairs to sit is which is not always available
