The room was clean and smart. The fact that we could choose and buy films to watch was good.The breakfast choice was excellent and the fact that we could choose how much and what we wanted to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed the atmoshpere as well as there attention to detail. Very friendly staff who is always prepared to assist. Imaculate house on a cozy street that literally, takes you back in time. For the website price it is a great venue for any celebration - rooms are fine and spacious - if you can't stomach the 13 quid breakfast then theres a sainsburys close with a new cafe in development (!) Have been to a wedding and a ball at this hotel and both do's have been good - bar staff nice afterwards - Very clean and good standard of furnish

Yes the hotel is slightly tired, but in a quaint way, felt very homely and personal, much like the staff, very helpful and polite.
The broadband is quite limiting, many words are banned. even sensible ones that I needed for work, but not a real issue.
Breakfast was excellent & service quick and friendly, a good choice of hot & cold.

Frendly efficient staff and everything is very clean. It's not the least stuffy and you feel at ease there. An encouraging price structure sympathetic to what for many people are hard pressed times. An alternative for me would have been to have made two 200mile car journeys in one day rather than one -

Excellent staff, the most comfortable beds I've come across in my travels, extremely good value for money and the breakfast is well worth booking and keeps you going all day -
provided everything needed for a short stay. room spacious, comfortable & clean.
food at adjourning restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was excellent.
