  The staff were great. They were all young and enthusiastic, there was a good energy in the place. The meals were excellent. We had breakfast included and we ate dinner there for each of our three nights, and looked forward to it. There was always a good crowd in for meals. It was good to have free parking at the hotel, and then drive a short way to the free parking at the park and ride bus exchange to see th - It was located in a quiet village, Hinton Charterhouse, approx 15minutes from Bath Spa by road. Access by local bus or taxi from Bath Spa if you don't have own vehicle. Peaceful, friendly, good food and country pub atmosphere. Access to some rooms is by stairs only. Staff very helpful to take bags up for you but if stairs is an issue you may need to ask for ground level room.

  The hotel was lovely. The setting was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, attractive and very clean. The whole setting had a wonderful atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff could not have done more to make us comfortable.
