Room was spacious and very comfortable. Very quiet even though near to the station. In fact being near the station meant parking was very convenient as we were able to use the station car park (£6 per day). Breakfast good. Free internet. Only 10 minute walk from one end of Princes Street and was on the main bus route anyway so it was easy to get around without having to use the car. Room was lovely. Stayed in a single room but it was very spacious - didn't feel at all cramped. Was well appointed. Breakfast was great. Location is good too - across from Haymarket station and only a 10 minute walk to Princes Street. Would definitely recommend it.все обзоры »
The breakfast was excellent given that it was a completely organic full english. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The staff of hotel was very kind, and the room was clean.the organic breakfast, silence, good bed, everything. All excellent - worth a visit. Would revisit.everything except no bar. Very comfortable room and the breakfast was excellent - organic and fair trade produce used. Good location frequent buses and trains into the centre and the aiport bus stops just outside.the staff very good also the service provided that we could leave cases there till later as our train was not till tea time so had another day to wander round with out cases. Room size, cleanliness, updated facilities and breakfast. Good overal location, plus across the street from the Haymarket rail station and very helpful staff. service and facilities in line with expectations; two single rooms available at relatively short notice; close to airport, city centre and Murrayfield. proximity to bus stops, Haymarket rail station, grocery store, A1 Scottish restaurants (First Coast and Sizzling Scot). Breakfasts were lovely, beds were comfy, absolutely no problems at all!. the hotel was clean ,quiate, good services and comfort. We asked for a large, quiet room and that is what we got. The hotel has been recently decorated and is very clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Quiet area, warm breakfast, free internet. Friendliness of staff, comfortable stay. The location was very convenient, one block from a bus to the airport, 3 blocks from the convention center, and walking distance to major sites. The room was small but well set up. The managers were nice. The breakfast was nice.Location, decor, breakfast, additional TV channels. As was clear from the description, this is a guest house rather than a hotel. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere.Friendly, helpful stff. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. The area was quiet despite being near the railway station. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Breakfasts were simple but well presented.Nice big room, clean, comfortable. Friendly, efficient staff and good breakfast. location for centre and ECC. Proximity to Airlink bus / pleasant and safe 10 min walk to city centre / Lothian buses stop very close by / good breakfast but would have expected black and white pudding. good access both to the city center and to the airport, warm bedroom, comfortable bed.Great location. Good breakfast. friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast. Pleasant staff and welcome. location /size of bedroom. Mixed feelings. The staff members were nice people but not the owner. The quietness of the room. Its location and proximity to the town centre. You can hear the announcer at the rail station until fairly late in the evening.there was no bar in the hotel but 3 with in 2mins walk. It was a bit further out of town than we'd hoped but taxis were cheap. no,every thig was perfect. The internet in the rooms was not working and they had no one on call to fix it. It was fixed finally after 4 days, when I was leaving. This was a major inconvenience for me because I had a lot of internet work that I needed to do.Very compact room, shower-room and sink; very soft mattress. My room (a single) was quite small. It reminded me of a student room. Although it is possible to walk to the centre (15 min. with a very nice view of the castle during a big part of it), you might prefer to take the bus during the winter months (bus every 2-3min. during the day).Very small bathroom in comparison to the room and badly designed shower cubicle. Given the ample size of the room, the ensuite was a little on the cramped side. Nevertheless it was clean and everything worked properly.Shower head was loose and ensuite bathroom door wouldn't shut properly. Quite a noisy area at present with roadworks, but our room was at the back so no noise there. Room too small, breakfast not brilliant. A downstairs sitting area would have nice, otherwise a very positive experience. Would certainly return / recommend. Thanks. I would have liked better choice of cold breakfast. I did not feel very welcome at the hotel - I did expect "warmer" environment from a family-run guest house. My room (a single) was extremely drafty, to the point it was rather uncomfortable (and I'm not exactly a complainer). Be forewarned. Size of en-suite facility. Glad I didn't have a cat to swing !!. tiny bathroom !. The lady owner was stiff with the check-in time even after my calling up to explain my situation and request for late check-in. I spent the night on the streets because I couldn't get a room elsewhere. There was no wireless connection for 2 out of 3 days, hence it is not as advertised. The shower screen doesn't close properly, had to hold the screen door while showering. The single room was far too small and there was really no room to move. The only peg fell off the door when I put my raincoat on it!. Room 6 was tiny.i am 6 foot,40 inch chest,I couldnt fit in the "ensuite" properly.Shower head defied gravity.Shower door wouldntshut.Little choice in cooked breakfast.Having poached eggs insteadcaused a problem,as they had to use a microwave!Small T.V. was verytemperamental and digbox held together with black tape.
