This was my first stay in a Tune Hotel and my first trip back to Edinburgh in 20 years! I have to say I was very impressed. I didn't check in until late at night and the staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome, stating, 'we've been waiting for you'. The room I had was small with no windows, but that was not an issue for me. It was very modern, clean, and comfortable. Even the shower doors looked like they had been polished clean, that's how immaculate it was. My only gripe was that th. все обзоры »
I like the brand new design for simplicity & comfort with excellent staff at the welcoming front desk. Every one at the check in or out counter has positive and helpful attitude towards guests from all over the world. Here I would like to pay special respect & thank them from the bottom of my heart. As for room cleanliness and security device from lobby to lifts and then to rooms, there is nothing to worry about. I like the picture like scenery from my room window. It is purely awesome,.
The whole experience was amazing, the staff were so accommodating and
friendly and the facilities were clean and suitable for our stay. I was
very impressed with the hotel and thought it was particularly good value
for money, especially since we had looked at hostels for the weekend and
the tune hotel worked out cheaper, much better than sleeping in bunk
beds and sharing a bathroom!! I cannot compliment the staff enough, they
always had a smile on their faces and were so happy to help, they all.
we just got married on that day and were looking somewhere to stay just for that night and as we checked in late, the staff at reception were very friendly and very helful, and they congratulate as and they offered as some choice.the whole experience was imazing and we loved it,and the next time we going somewhere ,tune will be our first choice hotel were we would love to stay again.thank you very much to haymarket staff that made our day .
Everything was perfect - starting from location (walking distance from hotel to train station and 2min taxi drive to airport which was really important to us). As we arrived really late and departed early in the morning we didn't meet anyone from staff but everything was prepared for us as well as personal was great with communication through phone and email. Breakfast was rich and nice. Basically we didn't have any complains.
Loved everything about this hotel newly open in January 2013 read the feedback on this hotel , people moaning about having to pay for tv and extra towel when you book with letsbookhotel.com this is all included in the price , clean rooms , easy to get to from airport airlink bus stops right outside , will be back for sure , rooms not so big but we only sleeping there not a issue. spanish female receptionist almeria was lovely.
Hotel is in an excellent location, really close to the train station and various shops & resteraunts. The staff were really helpful from the moment I checked in. The design in the whole hotel from the reception through to the bedrooms is great and really modern. My room had huge windows and was very light which was great. For the money paid, I was not expecting much but was pleasantly suprised.
Quite simply a perfect hotel if you are in edinburgh for a couple of days. The rooms are small but perfectly formed.Great beds, great power shower. The staff were very attentive and could'nt do more for you.The location is ideal if your coming via train as the haymarket station is right opposite the hotel entrance.
Room very clean although tiny. Great shower and towels. Breakfast
ordered and arrived on time and was fine. Tv worked well as did the
Internet. Bed was double and firm but good. Staff were all fantastic. Is
about a 20min walk to the castle or haymarket train station is just
outside and it's one stop to waverley.
This Hotel is opposite Haymarket rail station so ideal if travelling by train, it was really clean, the reception staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble and as it is a new hotel the room was immaculate. There were pubs takeaways and small supermarkets really clos by. I really enjoyed staying here.
Everything was great! The rooms were clean, the stuff was very helpful and it was just 10 minutes on foot from the old and new parts of edinburgh. there were buses and a train station just outside our door, as well as a bus taking passengers to the airport, so transportation wasn't an issue at all.
The room had everything that was needed if you book through letsbookhotel.com
and get the extras included and the hotel is opposite Haymarket
Station, so travel was easy. The rooms are a little small, but it was
easily the cheapest place to stay in the centre, so can't really
complain about that.
Really friendly staff. Rooms were really clean and looked very new with good size bathroom / shower (bit tight for space around the bed but no real dramas as we didn't have many bags). Very close to transport to and from the airport and city although only a 10 minute walk into Princes Street.
Reservation through letsbookhotel.com gets extra services like T.V. and WiFi for free, vs. a small charge otherwise. Rooms stylish, & although small are functional and well designed for space savings.. Nice for no frills tourism, but new and shiny. Staff helpful and considerate.
The hotel was very clean, staff were really friendly and allowed us to
check in at quarter to 3 when we arrived. We also got towels,
toiletries, wifi, hairdryer and tv all part of our room price without
paying extra. Great value for money and not far from all tourist
attractions.
Great hotel and very close to the city centre.Dispite its low price, the room was perfectly clear and it also had a nice view. It's just opposite to the Haymarket train station and only a five-minute walk away from the castle of Edinburgh. The staff was very helpfull and friendly.
Could not fault anything in your hotel.Security measures where
excellent. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel was delightful and
warm when coming out of the cold.We will be booking with your hotel
again in the future.First class accomodation!.Well done!.
The exceptional cleanliness, the fact that you only had to pay for the facilities you use. Excellent security - would be useful to have a second access card so that one could enjoy the room while the other goes down for tea, coffee, Etc.
The hotel is very new and situated near the city center. The room was
clean, the bed comfortable and my stay in general was nice. The staff
was really nice, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely book this
hotel again.
The utter simplicity of the proposition. When I travel on business all I want is a clean room, a comfortable bed and a good shower. Tune had them all at a remarkable price, 15 minutes brisk walk from the centre f he city.
-10 min à pied du centre. Hôtel moderne et pas trop cher. Internet
gratuit lorsque réservé avec letsbookhotel.com!
-Not so far from the center, you can do it by walk. Wifi is free when you reserve from letsbookhotel.com.
Hotel was pretty much brand new. Very clean and the staff, especially the Deputy Manager, were extremely helpful and friendly. Free Wi-Fi was a good touch. Prices were excellent and all of us were pleasantly surprised.
Everything about It I loved the fact that yo need a key to go through every door this means you feel safe all the time I loved the location not far from city centre and straight across the road from the train station.
Staff were lovely, very helpful. Supplied with extra pillows as requested. Location was perfect for travel to the Airport. Room was well equipped and nicely designed. Extremely clean and done to a very high standard.
The staff were very friendly, the hotel and room were exceptionally clean and modern. Easy access to both Haymarket train station and Edinburgh city centre. Myself and my wife would definitely stay here again :-D.
its a design hotel ,very clean and so welcome.if you book this hotel from letsbookhotel.com then everthing will be free of charge like towel ,wifi internet, hairdryer.if not this all will be charge extra fee.
It was just what we needed for our one night stay in Edinburgh.
Directly across the road from Haymarket station. Rooms were
clean, modern, secure, comfortable and new. Staff were very
friendly.Great price.
Nice, new hotel. Comfortable bed. Clean facilities. Well located on a main street, as long as you don't mind walking 20 minutes to get to Edinburgh centre. Fast wifi, good selection of tv channels.
clean room, great location (20 minutes walk to the center, 5 minutes by train), great Chinese food take-away across the road. There are good pubs within 5 minutes walk. Very modern facilities.
It was perfect for our needs as we only stayed two nights for our sons graduation. It would not be ideal for a young family. Saying that as s couple we were more than happy. Thank you.
Good location easy to get to the royal mile and zoo, modern glad we booked through booking as towels, tv, hairdryer etc were included which were £2 if booked direct through the hotel.
Excellent friendly staff. Through a glitch from letsbookhotel.com I was charged twice but Tune staff sorted this promptly. They gave us recommendation for dinner, which was lovely.
It's clean, modern and convenient. The double room is a bit cramp with very little space. Even moving around the room is not easy. The twin bed room is much more comfortable.
I was booked into the tune hotel by my grandmother as a treat. The kindness shown to me by Ragga, the receptionist, was lovely! Would recommend tune hotel to anyone!.
We had a room without window which was ok for two nights. I wouldn't book it again but rather take one with a window. The hotel is new and modern. We liked it a lot.
Great staff. Nice to have things a la carte but didn't notice that choice on the website. We may have paid less, for less. Good for us so close to the train station.
That it was close to all major attractions and the railway station which is how we arrived in Edinburgh by train. So only a 5 to 10 minutes to see lots of places. -.
staff were friendly & helpful .decent location 10 minute walk to princess street right beside Haymarket train station & some decent bars & restaurants.
The location of the Hotel is very good, the staff are very friendly and the room was very clean. When we go to Edinburgh again we'll hopefully stay here again.
Vey clean. Good size rooms and bathroom. Nicely designed and extremely competitive rates. Ideally located across the road from Haymarket. Well worth the money.
The disability friendly accommodation & specific service (there was a fire alarm one night and a member of staff was assigned to take personal care of me).
Central location, the staff was amazing! Especially Douglas Vaughan who
went above and beyond the call of duty to help me get my devices working
and charged.
Staff very friendly and rooms very well laid out and comfortable. Not the biggest room but for the price paid and location I found the hotel to be excellent.
Good budget hotel; this is the cheapest we found in Edinburgh that was of a good quality.
The location is fantastic, right next door to Haymarket station.
The location and cleanliness of the hotel. Definitely will recommend to all our friends coming to Scotland . We stay again when we come back to Edinburgh.
A modern hotel in the city center, just opposite the haymarket train station. The room was clean, with an excellent design witch create a cozy atmosphere.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, facing Haymarket station and the taxi queue. Interesting experience, our first no frills hotel.
Easy walking distance to Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and Princes Street. Close to lots of eateries. It was also very clean and had good security.
Very accessible. Great that it is across the road from Haymarket train station. Will be even better when the city has completed their tram rail set up.
It was a really good hotel for its price, surprisingly good. The location is quite good as well, all in all a very very good option to visit Edinburgh.
Nothing at all. Just one request: an electrical heating pot for boiling water.
nothing loved the hotel :).
Could have done with tea/coffee in the room but you could buy these from reception and there is a coffee shop just across the road.
Nothing really but an electric socket on both sides on the bed would be better instead of just the ones in the room.
Room is very small so if this is an issue for you find another hotel.
No room cleaning, the only problem with this was the build up of rubbish in the room, although the reception staff were quite willing to dispose of this if I brought it down to them,.
Being so cheap it seems to attract groups going for a night out in
Edinburgh. We were woken up two out of three nights by a group of lads
running up and down the corridor and banging on peoples doors,
although that's not really the hotel's fault. A phone in the
room would have been good to report this to reception, as we were not
told that there was a number that we could call off our mobiles when
we checked in.
Had to pay £2 to leave your bag at the hotel as we arrived before check-in and again when we wanted to leave our bag at the hotel while exploring the city before flying out.
Due to its low cost / affordable/ minimalistic / space saving style, it would be difficult to accommodate large or tall guests.
Check out time is a bit early compared to most hotels although you have
the option to check out later for an additional £15.
Strange lack of a razor power point in the shower room.
The room are very small. I think for a couple of night it´s fine, but
for longer stay my became a problem.
Nothing.
-Ils chargent un montant pour l'entreposage d'un sac.
-They will charge you an amount when you leave a luggage in the reception.
The rooms were very small, although understandable considering the price. Hotel has no bar or kitchen. Again, whilst it is understandable considering the choice around, but staying with an under-16 child means that many places won't allow them after 9pm which would not be a problem if the hotel had a bar.
We had a double room with window and are both about 5 foot 6 and
slim/ average build and it was a bit of a squeeze getting round the
end of the bed. Larger guests might find they are a bit short of space!.
Room and bathroom are very small, but in line with expectations.
Room with no windows and very small. Transparent door to the shower.
Very very small room no tea or coffee facilities.
Tiny room (but new and very clean) but as we arrived at 9pm and left at 5am we really only needed a place to sleep so this wasn't an issue. It may be if you plan on staying longer.
There is no kettle in the room.
Room was small. Would have liked breakfast.
That you have to pay for extras like the TV and internet (I did not as I booked online). The shower and toilet was very small.
Car Parking not easy, though that is symptomatic of Edinburgh and not necessarily the hotel's fault.
A pricelist in the room showed individual pricing for everything suggesting there's a plan that in the future it won't be included anymore.
Tram building work meant hotel access was challenging.
He construction on the road in front of the hotel which we had no idea
about till we got there. The gps on the car kept taking us around in
circles trying to get us to turn left when there was no way we could do
it at that point.we drove around for hours until 11 pm trying to find
the hotel.
Parking was an issue. However this can be resolved if the hotel could find cheaper parking for guests with vehicles.
The room was small, however for few days it is ok.
Based on the hotel description we were expecting a larger room (at least enough space for accessing the contents of our baggage). A trash bin was added mysteriously our second day with no cleaning performed. Wifi is accessed by receiving a new voucher each day and stops at midnight without explanation.
Tea/Coffee facility in the room would be great.
The room was clean when we arrived, but nobody cleaned the room in the next two days after we arrived.
