  We got an amazing price from the website and were a bit nervous that the welcome would be a bit strained but this was not the case. The woman on reception was very friendly and approachable - though she hadn't been there long she was able to answer all our questions. Room 14 was a decent size and very warm. We loved the view to the sea and the single paned sash windows as they remind - We had a great time at the Lion Hotel. The room was quiet and comfortable with free wi-fi though this I think depends where your room is. They say it's only available in the public areas and make no claims for bedrooms! Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items. We also enjoyed two evening meals there with good home style dishes. The hotel is pleasantly situated in the centre of Criccieth and is a few minutes walk from the sea and the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  Our stay at Ty'n y Gwynt was wonderful. Friendly, warm, inviting, quiet, very comfortable and ideally located. Sally was really helpful with advice on local restaurants & bars, she even has a useful map in the room showing the best places in town. We can recommend The Castle Inn. It doesn't look much from outside, but the food was great, is g... что говорят » reat value & huge portions. If you like cider try the Firey Fox. If you do decide to eat locally, do so before 8:30pm. Talking to another couple w - Sally was very friendly, the room was cleaned every day, the food was very good as well (and always on time), the room was warm as heating was on every day (that could have been turned off in the room if not needed). The location was great - in front of the castle and near the sea. We can recommend this B&B to others and will definitely come back in the future.

  The staff were helpful, polite and cheerful. The place was clean and my bedroom was very good and the provision of the room was good. There was provision for late night arrival and late night returns. Not really into the entertainment but the coach parties seemed happy enough with it. TV etc was adequate although limited access, only one radio station. - Easy parking, nice staff, even if I arrived at 3 am. Comfy bed, nice and warm room, relatively newly decorated bathroom. All in all quite worth the money!

  A lovely friendly guesthouse / hotel, on Criccieth's coast road. Easy walking distance to the beach and centre. There is a fantastic guest lounge with sea views and the bedroom (ensuite) was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served in a spacious dining room, again with fantastic sea views.   Claire and Sian were excellent hosts nothing was to much trouble, the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was 1st class. Criccieth is a lovely seaside town, not over commercialised, with fabulous views, a castle a good selection of eateries and shops - Good breakfast, quiet clean and bedroom, friendly staff.
