  The hotel was warm. The staff were friendly and helpful.The food was excellent, well presented and piping hot. Afternoon scones were delicious. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. It was a great three star hotel. - It felt like a family run hotel, even though it is part of a chain. The staff were very helpful and friendly.   We stayed over the Easter long weekend and had a wonderful time. The room was warm and cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Tracy was very welcoming and extended us wonderful hospitality, she also prepared a fantastic breakfast every morning - her homemade bread is great! The location of the The Blacksmith’s House is fantasti - Very friendly - an absolute home from home where you really are encouraged to get your feet under the table and kick back.fabulous home baking - scones and Jams left every day for you until they are finished. Home made bread and pancakes for breakfast, also home cooked ham, fresh eggs from their own hens - Tracy even messaged me to make sure I'd arrived safely and let me know she had left home-made bread out for my arrival incase I was hungry. Oh, and the home-made shortbread too!! I had to be
